I usually ship small packages (7inx4in padded envelope) through USPS. Now it seems that my PO is soooo crowded lately with LONG lines. A friend of mine said that I can go to the UPS store and they can ship it USPS. I looked on their site and it mentions it. Has any of you done this and is it the same price? If not how much more is it compared to the PO. Thanks.

If you are usually just shipping small packages via USPS, Why not just print your shipping labels at home, then just put the envelope in the mail box for the driver to pic up?
I do it all the time with the smaller envelopes and packages. You can pick up a accurate digital scale for cheap. Has saved me tons of time, plus online postage is cheaper then the price at the post office. So your saving $$ also.

I just estimate my package weights when I ship stuff. Ive NEVER had a problem. Once the package is sent, I dont think they ever actually weight it anyway. Thats canada post though, they arent nearly as efficient as USPS.

These are great for under 5 lbs.
I bought one just like THIS on ebay, 86lbs max. The seller has buy it now ones, and reg. auction ones, I bid on one and got it for like $15.00 shipped.
Works on ac power or 3 AAA's I have had it for awhile now and seems to work great. And is pretty much accurate to the scale at the post office. Cant go wrong for the money IMO.
