I hit a curb full speed on a 3s ouch but it's ok cuz I pulled the trigger and got some new stuff

Lol that'll do it.. U need a big open area on 3s or a wide road with NO sidewalks lol.. I'm always nervous on 3s I've come close to hitting several cars and one time a random kid that ran into the street trying to catch the car

I finally got to some what run my truck on my dirt driveway. I even built a small jump to see how it flys. I am very pleased with the brushless motor. My last 2 trucks were a stampede and a rustler both had stinger brushed motors in them. These new brushless motors are just insane. My only problem is I think I will need a new motor to keep up with my friends tmaxx on a more wide open course. Even in 40 degree weather it heats up pretty quick with the 18 tooth in, think I will probably drop back down to the 13 tooth over the weekend.

Lcg chassis dyed and installed. Got everything hooked up. Put the wrong pinion gear on. So gotta take things back apart tomorrow

Other than that it went smooth and only took about 4 hours hahaha

Can't Waite to try it out and see how it does

Don't think anything is binding but kinda sounds like something is anything I should look for ? Or is the lcg set up just noisier ?

Went and got some stock wheels, and some proline bowties. Had 1/8 wheels on before I converted it to a slash from a rally. 1/8 wheels look good on the rally, but I like the sc wheels better on the slash. Bright side is I lost some weight too, 1lb 4oz. for the 1/8 buggy wheels (JConcepts Rulux with Proline Knuckles 2.0 with molded foams), vs 14.5oz for the Proline SCT wheels/tires. Over 1/4 lb difference!!!

Just finished soldering up the new Tekin electronics. The power transfer is so much smoother. Just about to install the Hotwire app on my computer. Can't wait to test it on the track!

Fixed the drivers side rear axle carrier. We were playing tag last night and my friends rustler tagged the wheel and the axle carrier snapped.

I WD40 my slash. Wondering if that was safe to do? My slash ended up in the Pacific Ocean and forgot to rinse it after I ran it at the beach.

Played around with drifting wheels.

First put some 1/10 scale drift wheels on it, looked funny but was fun as ****!

I then tried the pvc pipe on the stock wheels trick, looked better, but nowhere near as easy to control, too slippy.

I wd40 mine, it was a reccomendation from the guys at the local hobby shop, I just dab it on he bolt heads with a qtip. So far no harm.

Have family and friends over later today for a little racing, noticed a little slop in the steering and had to replace the steering bell crank assembly in the 2wd Slash I use for off road. Took about 45 min, did a test run on the track and I'm ready to open up a can of hurt on my guest this afternoon!!!!!

I even put a new set of Gladiators on my ride and will also use my new SPC 2s 6500 mah 65c batts fo a additional punch.

Today I worked on swapping out a broken RPM aarm, and added shock guards for the front and back of my slash.

I have not yet decided what I want to run but I think the stampede guards up front (with or without proline guards)
and the proline guards on the back,

jesus christ was what a friend of mine said after i showed him my new 4s lipo. well i said it to when i put it on my slash and ran it. this thing was sick fast. i wonder if i could run a 4s on the sand with paddles. maybe not.

holy crap.
i just bought a used slash and it had big tires on it.. iduno what size. pinion being used was a 11 tooth...
I changed the tires back to stock and Today I picked up a 50 and 54 spurr gears and a 19 tooth pinion. im stoked to see how it runs on 3s

Its been snowing here in edmonton alberta canada latley and i have been dieing to get this thing out!

Mr. Bill as always inspired! I have a few thoughts in my head for my paint scheme, how does the chrome look in the sun? And was it a difficult application? And as for taping did u go chrome first then ten burn orange?

Just like a "mirror"!!!! If you look @ the 2nd picture, you can see a few clouds that were in the sky when I took the photo!!!! It's not the easy'est color to paint, very transparent and you have to "build" the color with multiple coats, then back it with black. Yes I paint'd the chrome 1st, then the Flourescent Red and Flourescent Yellow.....and then the "glitter-ific" windows!!! (red, orange, yellow glitter!!!)

@fracture still plan on heading to the Tekin side of life but until then the CC BEC, and savox servo will get me right for this next race.. Don't get it twiste I love my 3800/MMP but its like having a BMW and test driving a Lamborghini by switching to Tekin lol
