Stampede batery 3 s

Hello, I'm new in rc world, I have a STAMPEDE 4x4 VXL, and I would like to know if this battery charger and serve him?

Battery: DuraTrax LiPo 11.1V Onyx 5000mAh 25C (DTXC1866)
Charger: DuraTrax Onyx 245 AC/DC Dual Charger (DTXP4245)

Is necessary to make some sort of modification in the car to use this battery 3?

Yup it will charge that no problem. What ESC/Motor are you using in your car?

Greg my stamepede is new, 4x4, model TRA6708, brushless Velineon 3500 motor and VXL-3s waterproof electronic speed control.
I'm worried about using this battery, I know that many use, what do you think? Thanks for your help!

I have a new Pede4X4 and use 3S 5000 Venom and 2S 5800 Traxxas. No problem with 3S (or 2S of course). Just monitor your motor temp during runs.

I think the 2s will be more than enough in the Pede4X4 JMO.
