i had a 6 month old p4de and the tires are already half bald, is this normal. also i need christmas ideas and i came up with tires and wheels,i will get rpm claws or revolvers, but it depends on what tire for the wheel type.i want to use the old tires for putsing around in the yard, but these new tires and wheels wil be used in snow, mud, gravel, water, and anything else.i mite throw in the idea of a sandpaw but does anyone know how fast they wear on mud, snow, or dirt? i like the sand paws for snow, but that seems to be my only use for them unless i break a wheel and need a backup set of wheels tires. i need to decide fairly soon so i can notify my family what i want.plz help me to pick the rite tire guys, i know you will!![]()

Never used the paws. So can't help there. Been happy with my Mashers. They seem to be lasting and I would think the tread would be good for what your doing ( maybe not water)
I know the Badlands are great too. But they seemed more for dirt and grass.

+1 mashers they last forever, badlands wear fast on pavement.
+2 for Mashers. They are an awesome tread. Proline is now offering them in 2.8 with a traxxas bead. Another good tread are Trenchers too.

That's even better they have them now in 2.8, mine were the 2.2. I cut the bed,and mounted them on 2.8 desperados.
i have ran both sets and have to say i loved both. ran mashers on a 2 wd pede and the badlands on 2wd stadiam truck and the only thing that would stop eather truck was 3 foot tall grass. i just traded for my first pede 4x4 and i will be getting a set of both will proble do mashers first i dont have much terrain for badland but i want to try them in the snow
id go with mashers also. if you have stock shafts they will bust them in about 2 seconds on road. also get alum hex. paddles will wear fast if used on pavement.
i'm still on stock batterys, but does anyone know what kind of wheel looks good on the mashers, i like revolvers, specificaly chrome, do they hold up to some good jumps!?!?!

The 2.8 mashers will only a except traxxas style bead, besides stock.

Cant wait to get my hands on a set of these bad boys it will make my old school project look so good when its done....peace
Famous last words...watch this!!!!
i like the 2.2, because i dont want to spend that much on wheels mostly, and theres alot more 2.2 wheels then 2.8 with a traxxas styler bead, mor a selection u could say, so are the 2.2 revolvers any good, or should i go claws, if you have a couple mins my truck is on pg3 of the photo gallery,i think its #114, they will go on that, i cant decide what would look best, i think chrome in revolvers or blue chrome claws, any ideas or suggestions
ps. i dont want to spend 40 on desperados and everybody has them also!!!

If you get revolvers, make sure its the wide version.

If your running on anything besides asphalt (where they'd wear quicker) it's hard to beat Trenchers for off road on dirt, gravel, grass, etc. For wheel toughness, it's hard to beat Revolvers. I've cracked both Desperados and the stock 2.8 Traxxas wheels, so I'm running 3.2 Revolvers now with 17 mm hexes and metal axles as I like to jump and accelerate hard on a short track. The 2.2 traxxas wheels are pretty indestructible too, if you want to keep things more stuck and still hold together.
would someone give me a link to the revolvers a can mount mashers on, not 2.8, 2.2

The Mashers are a great tire. I have them on my 1/8th truggy and they are almost two years old now. They last forever.
I have the sand paws for my 2wd pede and they never wear at all. I have driven them on all sorts of terrain including asphalt and they show almost no wear. My pede isn't running brushless yet though so I know that helps them from wearing out too fast. My only complaint about the sand paws is that the 2.2's are a little slow.
