New to ERBE....second owner of this truck.
I bought this monster second hand at my LHS. It's running on 6s. When I bought it I immediately started running it. I've ran 3 full packs through it. On the 4th pack I did a backflip and one of the traxxas dog bones broke around the inner cup. I want to replace these steel Cvds with summit all the way around. Right now I have the progressive rockers. Only other rockers I have are the LT rockers. I would like a little more height. Any suggestions and parts numbers would be appreciated. I'm running stock esc and motor with 18/54.

What holes are your pushrods set in and what rockers you using...P2?? You can set pushrod all to the inner hole if you want more height...if you haven't done that already?
-
Yeah the P2 rockers. They are all set in the middle holes. And the arms are mismatched with RPM and Traxxas. I've got the RPM arms I need to complete the set to correct this.

I use RPM arms all round and P2 rockers...you could set pushrods to inner hole and use thicker shock oil...I use 60K...some guys here use 70K.

Ok man. Sounds good. What driveshafts do you use?

I'm using summits, here's a link to my build thread...there may be some info here you find usefull; I have also done the Losi mod.

My diffs are supposedly RR built. I will definitely check out your build. Wht part number summit shafts do you use with the p2 rockers

Here you go mate:
(2) #5656 Summit Driveshaft, long
(4) #5654 Summit CV Stub axle
(4) #5653 Summit diff output CV drive
You best buying a complete set of Summit shafts off eBay...it will be cheaper that way; get yourself a couple extra #5656 while you at so you have spares.

sounds good to me. I really appreciate the info

No worries mate...good luck.

So I got some parts in to kinda get things in order. There will be more to come but this is a good start.

I just put those tires on too. What rims are you going to run?
-
Desperadoes. Nothing fancy.

Something like this!

Exactly. Mine are the black ones. I'm one bearing away from finishing. And can't find one anywhere. I guess I'm gonna just have to start on his baby brother today.

Did you loose the bearing? I have a full set of spares from when I replaced mine with ceramics
-
It was froze up and rusted. I thought I kept it to try and loosen up. Apparently not. I hope my LHS has one I can pick up tomorrow. How do you guys get all your camber adjustments correct?

Yeah I lost it somewhere. I hope my LHS has one tomorrow. I thought I ordered a set. Apparently not. Lol.

nice truck man i love the badland they have great tracion in almost any condition
-
The badlands were great today. Ripping around maybe too much! I wasted my rear diff again!
-
Thanks man! I can't wait to get it together and see how they perform. I'm going to look into getting that tool ordered today. Is there another tool for taking off the traxxas 17mm hexes? 50, don't you run the Robinson Racing diffs? How do you like them? This is what's in my truck.

Yes. They are robinson racing. Last time the spider gears stripped and the 8090 held up. Feels the same this time
