I got my first rc truck this week. My wife got me a brushless lipo powered summit! I cant believe how cool it is too drive. I am hooked on rc now, sure I will spend many hours driving it.
Here is a few pics of it after its first run yesterday.

The previous owner must have barely drove it... the tires are still shiny under all that dirt!

What brushless system did you drop in it?
Or did she buy a brushless system for you as well as the Summit??

Sorry, I misread the descriiption of what I got wrong, I thought it was brushless stock. It says brushless ready transmision.
I stand corrected, I appoligize for the mistake.
This is what she got me

That's awesome, and its green! Make sure to get your wife something really cool as well.... ;-) (What goes around comes around)
Welcome to the forum, lots of great knowledgeable people around here.
Absolutely!
There are quite a few people that have thought about dropping in a brushless system from day one... I thought you where one of the few that did it. I thought about dropping one in until I drove it and realized that the 775/EVX2 is no slouch! I will be going with a DeWALT when the 775 wears out though as it is a cheap upgrade... about the same cost as a replacement 775!
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.
Yes I run a tekin rx8 and a 2000 kv sensored xerun part time. Most of the time dewalt evx2.I run mine a lot brushless is just too much for the truck to handle full time.....well it's me really if the power is there....I will use it....I thought I could control the urges but that is proving very difficult.lol
It is cool to see it open up on flat ground
People don't expect it to be that quick.
It crawled just as good (drag brake set to just stiffer than the dewalt was)

I think with the 775 it really kicks ***, but from what I have been reading in forums a brushless motor would be be even better. I probably should wait until this motor dies before upgrading and spend money on a better charger. The chargers that came with truck take 6hrs to charge the batteries
Do you all recomend a decent quick charger?
Yes spend the money on a good charging system first If you don't have one, then upgrade the truck.
