For the last several weeks Ive noticed that my emax brushless jerks back and forth and hesitastes everytime I
start from a dead stop. After a few seconds it then takes off. No problems once it gets rolling. I think its progressively getting worse. Ideas anyone? Thanks!
What batteries are you running?
I do believe that's what's called cogging. Normal with brushless motors some do it more than others.

If you have weak batteries it could be the cause
Yes the stock 3000 mah batteries cause this mine did the exact same thing run lipos and you will be fine
That's what I forgot the stock batteries do that as well get some good high output lipos with at least 130amps or more. No NiMH will provide the needed amps you need.

thanks for the reply all. I'm still using the original batteries it came with so it makes sense. I'm surprised though because
I haven't notice any reduction in speed or duration between charges.
This is caused by the Low Voltage Cut Off, you will need to program the controller(ESC) for NiMh cutoff and not Auto Li-Po. The 3908 comes with the Auto-Lipo Cutoff voltage and not the Ni-Mh cutoff.
Purchase the Castle Link for easy setup via USB, or program it via Transmitter(hassle).
