Hi All
I have searched forum and simple green comes up as a popular choice for cleaning nitro Rc
My question is simple green is a brand
Which simple green product do you use
It's a brand name. Just do an online search for it.

Why would you spray any form of liquid on your electronics in the first place? You spray stuff on a rag and WHIPE the electronics, what you did was just stupid, sorry but its true lol! Even if you think your not getting water in them, you get moisture (condensation) and thats even worse because it surrounds the entire board.
REVO Platinum, Slash Platinum, TRX-1
When you got a mud covered truck, a rag won't cut it! Don't talk to me like I'm a 5 year old! Very unnecessary!

Ok, spray your electronics down son...

First off, nitros don't have ESC's, they have receivers. Even if they were considered waterproof I would still exercise due caution in squirting water or a cleaning solution directly onto it and the other electronics. My servos are waterproof but the rx box is not.

I wasn't talking nitro, just talking about electric! I don't like nitro but we won't get into it. I know nitros don't have esc's! The little space in the reciever box where the wires go could allow cleaner to go into the rx box though, like you said.

I always mixed denatured alcohol, and simple green (50/50) with the theory that any excess will evaporate rather than sit. This has been a well accepted measure to clean off your RC. I leave my electronics in, however the receiver is in a sealed box, and the servos are sealed too. I also spray it all off my trucks with air after letting it sit for a couple minutes.
