fail safe question?

I believe I picked up a used model 5310 Revo with a 2.5 and and am not certain if it has a fail safe on on it?

I also have posted this question in the tmaxx forum, can someone suggest a failsafe that will be dependable to put on this revo I have purchased. My personal opinion is these things ought to come factory on these fast toys as I can only imagine how many people buy them not really knowing much about them, me being one of them lol.

Ofna makes a good fairly cheap fail safe. The Revos do not really have a fail safe, the TQ setups have a low voltage detection but do not detect interference or radio signal loss. True fail safe is your best bet.

The traxxas 2.4 rx's have a built in failsafe. it is a good upgrade from the 27mhz am radio
