This landing could of ended badly.

Took our new Slash 4x4's we just built up to our families cabin to play in the snow. It was actually their first time out. My son did a pretty awesome jump that almost ended badly. Luckily the landing ended a few feet short or we might be ordering parts.

    Heres the video.

And here is some other fun from the weekend.

Haha I love your reaction... "Wow". Be careful bashing in the snow. The cold temps make the plastic parts very brittle.

Sent using 8.4 volts of NiMH power!
To the men and women of the US military, thank you

Thats our first time in the snow. It actually wasnt too cold out this weekend. But I do think the cold had some effect on the bodies. The body on my sons, the blue one, developed a few cracks after landing on its top a few times. We didnt have time to Shoe-Goo before leaving. It's getting done this week.

Yeah didn't think the cold would make a difference on the brittleness of the body. I found out it does. I was taking a big jump and landed upside down and didn't think it would be bad because of the "soft" snow but one of the pins went through the body. Time for some shoe goo.

As it was coming in for a landing and seeing how close it was getting to those logs, all I could see were dollar signs.
