Hey everyone
My dads screwed up his rustler earlier
His servo kept going one direction non stop but all the gears were stripped
Took it home
I said oh you need a new servo
Tinkered around a bit
I fixed it
Just twist that little black nob!
I never knew this so I didn't know if you guys did

say what?
I'm confused

That little black knob it there to center the servo. It's a potentiometer.
Oh I see now. You re centered the servo so it only uses the part of the gear where the teeth are still good, correct?

So don't throw it away be size you can always get a new set of gears or case (depending on what's busted) or save those parts for another 2075 that breaks someday.
at first i thought the servo is locked on one side so you force to center the servo by turning the horn lol. you did'nt mention the transmitter was involve lol. glad you figure it out. so did you give it back to your dad? hehehe.....
I'm a hoarder I keep all my broken parts. Either for memories or for repairs to other parts. LOL I'm not that bad or am I???![]()

Is owning 27 RC's too many? No way!
Nononono guys
I mean the motor in the servo kept on going round and round.
I centered it with a black knob
(very hidden)
Here's the issue
I fixed it but when I turn the remote and let go then my servo doesn't center

That's because the servo is not truly centered any more. Or you hit a spot with no teeth.
When it was just spinning, you basically made a servo winch. There is also a little stop on the large gear that sits on the pot and that gear has a groove on the bottom that fits on the potentiometer telling the servo where it is in its stroke.

Whys it not centered?
How do I fix it?
I put new gears in
What happens is I turn it all the way and it on turns at 100%
When I return to center it doesn't move
Unless I turn it 100% the other way
