painting a body

i just bought a new body. should u always stick to rc paint or can u use car paint? there a colour i want but i cant find it in rc paint

Stick to a lexan paint like pactra

Anything but lexan paint WILL flake off.... no matter what you do for prep work.

sure, a blue lexan color mixed with a red lexan = purple lexan

also use the blue painters tape you can get from lowes, home depot, our your local hardware. not sure what my brother used but it wasn't any of the ones i listed because he tried to used some other kinda funky tape and it ran threw and ruined his shell he was trying to paint. so he's gonna drop another $16 on another shell and finally do it right.

Yeah red and blue purple . Lol maybe some red with yellow and couple drips of black make some burnt orange. now thats the mixing im talking about.

Im not painting mine just gonna bedline it. Tried on another body works pretty good and you can use rattle can over it for a nice texture look

Or make a cast of the body and spray some liner and make some disposable bodies lol. At 5 bucks a can should be cheap for a body huh
