I have a set of tires for a merv they are hole shot 2.0 2.2" tires, what rims will fit these for my merv, if you have a part # that would be great, thanks for the help in advance....

The holeshot is a fairly small tire. I would stick with a traxxas desperado or jconcepts rulux
They are the top right rims in the pic. Rulux on jconcepts![]()

Hey Thanks 50 for the help this is Timbers Nephew he set me up a log in on here....I appriciate the help!!![]()
What gearing would you recommend with these tires if I may ask 50?
traxxas dished wheels tra7171 wrapped in double dees
MERV - 3S 23/50
Revo 3.3 - stock
Thanks for the pic iDrive...Nice Merv!
You would probably want 26/50 for 2.2s...I don't know anything about those tires off the top of my head. 26/50 you should have no problem with. I would wait for 50 to come back to see if you can go any higher.
Thanks funnya for the advice...
Hey spyder! 26/50 would be on the safe side. With it being winter and your tire combo is pretty light the stock 28/50 might do unless running in tall grass or sand. Always keep an eye on temps with any changes til you know how hot it runs
Which tire compound did you get?m3 or m4
The lhs shop had the M3 soft with the green paint dot, and we are going to be running them on the dirt track me and Timber211 (my uncle) in his side yard are putting together we got some ramps built today for it.... and I will check into the 26/50 gearing. Thanks for the help, we are both new to this 1/16th stuff
for racing my brother and his jcon 2.2 road hawgs and he want tell me his gearing but he's be smoking me. After i got my pro-line 2.2 speed hawgs and hpi 2135 rims and i run my gearing at 26/45. i been smokin him ever since.
That will give you some speed but I would watch the temps!
I love the desperado wheels I just wish they made a smaller version for the slash
How do you "Slash" without a sword?
