    Time for new tires

The tire trends are about to wear out after so many driftings. I have been following other threads. Seems like Proline Racing is very popular. Speed Hawg 2 looks like my best choice. The front tires are wearing out than the rear tires. Should I replace all four tires or just replace the front tires?

Thx. Just to make sure. These should fit with the stock rims? Do I need new foams?

Speed hawgs won't, the stock rim is a weird size, only the stocs tires will go back on the stock rims.

Most will suggest a 2.2" HPI mesh or the monster ss wheels cause they widen the stance of the truck.

And with speed hawgs you need a wider rim so the hpi 2160 or 2140 is a perfect fit

They do not fit the stock rims.

I'm thinking of getting road rage or dirt hawg with rims. These should mount on mervo. What do you think of integy tires, or PL tires are far better?

Beadlocks are nice paper weights, search any thread about them and you will see they are too heavy and usually end up on a shelf collecting dust.

According to the proline website, Titus is a non-weight version of beadlock wheel. To strain the drive train is the larger and heavier tire. I think the other brands of beadlocks are far heavier.

Those tracks would be sick! I think I might have to splurge on those after the next great casino trip...I'm sure you wouldn't be able to get alot of speed out of them. Cause I've actually looked into a set for my 1:1 car (STi) and the max speed you could hit with them is 40mph. But man you could go anywhere....They have some videos on youtube with some 1/10ths running the track set up from integy..

I just received proline tires and rims. Just wonder why these come with ziplock bags?

I have that exact setup on my big block Merv...and they are EXTREMELY SOFT.
I guarantee you that they won't last any time if they see pavement use at all.
I'm thinking of picking up a set of Dirt Hawgs on Desperados just for running around here.
I think they will last alot longer.

The bags are already sealed. These bags are like ziplock. Why they spent money for these?
