I was wondering is the only difference between the two the castle combo?

BE comes with 17mm hubs and wheels, and other than the castle setup, I'm pretty sure they are pretty much the same.

Interesting, I wonder why they would change the hubs. I can just buy 17mm hubs and put em on right?

The brushed is waterproof and the brushless isnt

Heh, I ended up getting a Brushless one and I'm aware the Brushless Edition isn't waterproof but that can easily be fixed although I don't want to run through water or mud its too pretty! lol.

Even though you already bought one, the motor mount is different also. Maybe help someone else with the same dilemma

Yeah thought so since the brushed runs two motors.

so what all would i need to make a e revo to erbe specs besides whats already been mentioned. Can i get a erbe motor mount to fit on the brushed version?

Just the motor mount and the MMM system. Oh and the 17mm hubs.

and whatever wheels/tires combo you would want -- The link for the motor/esc is the new MM2 that is waterproof --- so far I love mine!!

With the added power, you may want to look at a set of summit drive shafts (all long)

What about the shocks, does the e-revo also use GTR shocks?

Wow $300 for MM2 combo on tower? I wouldn't buy it from there unless you have a huge discount code.

Just checked sorry I was wrong the price is 215 for the non waterproof version of the MMM/2200, this is from castle creations website , but I guess you are looking for cheaper options than this, good luck and god bless.

$215 for the combo, wish I lived in US, gonna cost another $100 for postal cost to ship due to Tax etc for UK which sorta defeats th point really, can get in uk from the local hobby store for £250 which works out more or less then same, when you buy electronic from here in uk you get a 12 month warrenty from the shop usually too, so if it breaks you just call the local shop and take it back they then go ahead an replace or send back to CC for you saving postage
