^^^^^ That's on 3S, because of that, I stay on 2S in that truck.

Yeah, that's an amazing photo!![]()
NIce pictures! That Pizza cutter front is hilarious!
Those are huge that for sure! I notice when I drove my friends Summit with the MM2/2200kv and mashers, the tires grew pretty big as well. But not as huge as your picture.
How are those banditos holding up. Do they have good grip. I'm looking into banditos or sweeps.

Hey guys, A little update after the speed runs....
First, I upgraded the firmware on my MMP through the Castle Link, and in the details, one of the changes was a 10% increase in torque at startup. So... I had to try it out, only to FRY a slipper clutch!
[IMG][/IMG]
Note in the pic, even the drive pin was BLUED from the heat!
So I upgraded to the HD slipper setup...

Note the size difference in plates, and the aluminum friction pads.
Second, during my teardown, I discovered a binding in my front diff. I'm using the FLM aluminum diff cups, as I thought they'd
be more durable....but I found out different.

As I disassembled the diff, I noticed the screws were not tight. I'm pretty sure I loctited them during assembly, but I'm thinking the power kinda shook them loose, causing the alignment tabs to shear, and get stuck in the gears.
I'll probably go with the XO-1 diffs, using the HR diff cups this time.

This is what I'm running in my other trucks with the CC MMP/2400 setup.
That's all for now!

That's not performance on the diff cupsHope the HR ones work better for you. By most people's accounts the plastic cups seem to work the best with the XO-1 parts.
keep me posted![]()
I've had a pretty good run on the HR cups, no issues yet. I've destroyed a plastic cup, which is why I went with the aluminum ones. I just gotta find some! Nobody's got 'em.![]()
Also, going to pop for the Futaba Gyro, it'll be torn down while I get a replacement diff anyway.

Those HR cups look sweet and I've been considering a pair just because, they look so sweet, even if a person can't see them in place
Awesome, looking forward to how the gyro will work for you and where you're going to mount it![]()
Very nice cups Aburg!
It's a good looking ride!
That it does indeed!
Ok guys, I'm baaaack!!! I've been waiting on parts, got the new Split Six's, mounted the other 2 Bandito's, and FINALLY got my Futaba Gyro....still can't get my hands on a HR aluminum diff cup tho...I ended up putting a stock Slash 4X4 diff in it just to get it back running.
I got to run a short test on the Gyro...man that thing works NICE!!! The Banditos have amazing grip, and the combination of the two, HOLY SMOKES!!! I'll get some 4S runs on it this weekend and see how the setup works at speed.
Cheers!

I cut a piece of CF from a helicopter rotor blade for the mounting plate. I still need to get some aluminum tube to finish the standoff.

Click on the image to see the gyro in action. I still have the gain set on the lowest setting. I'll make some adjustments after I do some high speed runs.

great mod for the gyro seating.....if you had a spare old center drive shaft you could use that as you aluminium tube for the gyro seat stand off....![]()
Looks cool the position you have it mounted at. What servo are you using in the set-up? The response looks a bit slow, but maybe it stills works fine....![]()

If it works well, then that's all that matters.
I bet the Banditos Gripped
Can it maintain a drift for you with heavy throttle?
I just ordered a spektrum rx that has the AVC. So I'm hoping that works well also. Basically a gyro inside a spektrum rx.
I ordered a SRS4210 DSMR AVC Surface Receiver back in March by accident for my Savage Flux HP. LOL After installing it and I picked my truck up the wheels would turn when I shifted the truck, I was like what the heck. Then read into it that it has AVC, I was like no freaking way, Awesomeness. haha I want to swap it out for a SR410 Rx and move the AVC one to my XO or something. Its totally awesome though. You program the Rx through the Tx and the bind plug. Its a little complicated at first, but once you get the hang of it, works like a charm. Oh and they are waterproof with Reliakote.
