I also have full datalogging too, I like to keep an eye on things. Plus its good points at shows.....
When you have a car that has been upgraded it is a VERY good idea to be able to keep an eye on things.
With your average car you lose fuel pressure and the car shuts off and rolls to a stop. With one that has upgraded fuel system, internal parts, maybe injecting alcohol or nitrous, loss of fuel pressure could cause catastrophic damage if not acted on immediately. They have more then I do...but if they are racing it is worth it!!
Yeah but 16 seems a little excessive. I guess you can't have too many. As long as they aren't in the way. What are they all showing?
I know in street/strip cars we normally have a good amount...though not 16....normally a large use of them is the actual tuning of the vehicle and for emergency response during a race with some like I already talked about. I already have 5 independent gauges and a stand alone computer display and another independent computer interface tucked into my glove box.
Sounds like all the above gauges are for the show circuit....not my cup of tea personally.
Everything of mine is all go. No show. I don't understand all the bolt on junk. That's just me and I'm glad he made his car his own!
I push 454whp and 471wtq out of that little 2.0L at 28psi. Have not really needed the 200 shot of nitrous tho.....lol
So she has go......and looks good doing it.....lol
Lately it's been a 2000 Ford Taurus.
Other times its a
1994 Chevy Caviler.
1998 Dodge Neon, 5spd.

It is FWD.....
Mind you I have it dialed back to 24psi, that was only on a dyno....

We just picked up a new car...thus making us having 7 vehicles.
The "new" one is a 1998 Honda civic, 4 door, 5 speed.. It's got like 260xxx miles on it.. But it drives just fine and will get tons better MPG than the other car I was driving.
God is good.
2011 Ford Edge since about a month ago. Needed something with some room, good gas milage and room for the kids. Came from a 2004 Dodge Ram Hemi regular cab truck.

Still wish I had this car. Sold it so I could buy a house a few years ago.

Thought I'd post up my daily driver. It's a 2013 Ram quad cab, 4x4. I ordered it this past May and picked it up in June. It's pretty much fully loaded, only options it doesn't have are the Ram-box, and power sun-roof. I ordered this truck with the optional air-ride and it has the 8-speed automatic trans. This is my 4th Dodge / Ram truck and so far my fav.![]()
That orange doesn't look to bad on the ram.... I haven't really been a fan of dodge but my opinions have changed as they have stepped it up the past few years...

I drive my 2008 Saturn Aura XE V6 to work everyday. Nothing special, but it has 90,000 trouble free miles.
And my 2001 Suburban. I dont drive it much. Maybe three to four times a month. Plus we use is for trips to our cabin and to Disneyland.
I've been thinking about picking up a new Camaro, but I really enjoy not having a car payment. This is the first time in my life since my early 20's that I havent had a car payment. I'm 42 now.

Wow incredible difference, I spent a lot of time in an 06 before it was sold. Lot of cheap plastic. I'm definitely considering a new Ram for the next truck. Quality seems to have increased greatly.
Only thing I see that I don't like is the little knob for gear changes. I just like having a mechanical link between my hand and anything that moves/steers/stops the vehicle.

I will say the air-ride is very impressive as well as the 8 speed auto. The round gear shift knob is only on the 8 speed, the 6 speed has a shifter lever in the center console. Took some getting used but I'm glad it has the rotary knob because it opens up the whole center console.
