It is a great pic forgot to mention that
Sent using lipo power
Mountains cant stop me
they have tried
These 8200 batteries are super, 1 hour of bashing!
These with my new Trencher X wheels and WOW! A totally different truck than stock, like night and day!
I think my SPC 8200's are the best thing I've bought for my trucks. I got the icharger 206b and I love it. I built a power supply with tips from Jamann and it was totally worth it. The charger never even gets warm. My packs charge together in under a hour. I dropped it in my slash last night with the 18t pinion and it was crazy! I can't imagine what the 3s will do.
Same here. Trenches and lipos are the best upgrade I've ever done!![]()
Is owning 27 RC's too many? No way!
just HAD to write a quick post on these SPC LiPo's
after the DeWalt motor and T-Bone skid plates (full set) upgrade to my Summit, my 5000/25C (2S) LiPo's really took a hit when it came to run time.
Enter SPC 8200/50C (2S).... WOW just wow (there's not much more to say)
picked up 4 of these and slapped the 2nd set in the ERBE... WOW
who needs 6S ? these SPC 8200/50C (2S) LiPo's last a WHOLE lot longer than the 5000/25C (3S) and its all but impossible to keep the front wheels on the ground with either set(s)
bottom line: SPC ROCKS!!! these LiPo's ROCK!!
(if your thinking of trying these... DO IT!!)
support your lhs! the internet is a great tool and online shoping is easy. but if we dont help out the lil stores them we hurt ourselfs. they sponser local racers and are mainly owned by a family. when you need that part in a pinch you cant run down to the internet and pick one up. and lhs would stock more if we bought more. oh and spcs and trenchers are my two favorite upgrades!!!!
My posts and summit are a hazard to your health
Well, Seems they finally ran out. Wonder how long the wait is going to be this time?
I have 2 friends who want 2 packs each after seeing mine. Glad I got mine when I did![]()
Ya, I'm glad I got mine when I did too.![]()

quick question. could you not just enlarge the wire notch on the chassis to make the main wires fit then run the smaller ones throuth the battery vents? and just to clarify, my onyx 245 will charge these fully?
Stop being a panzy n just cut the fins already! No offence, but just do it. I used wire cutters. Remove 2 fins pet vent.
U could enlarge original holes. BUT the leads come off the battery in the middle of the pack and the leads are a thicker than Traxxas leads and do not bend aswell to use original holes.
Worse comes to worse, u can replace the plastic vents for $5

Yes, you can enlarge the notches in the chassis and battery door. You can even add notches at the front of the battery bays. I've done both but I'd cut the vents.

Sorry, but instructions on charging a non-Traxxas battery with a non-Traxxas charger definitely falls under the aftermarket support category.

SPC is out of EVERY pack they sell, should have 2500 and 8200 2s packs in the next few weeks though.

I just bought 2 packs. Stock where showing 32, now 29.
I really hope they will pass the border, I'm in cacanada! I didn't know about the latest shipping laws?
... for the fun of excess!
just ordered my first set of these![]()
crawl-bash-swim. The Summit does it all.
Batteries just arrived after 6 days of shipping! I had to pay 25$ fee as well... So that's 45$ each battery but 23$ shipping + 25$ import fee.
Can wait to see how long my summit run with these lipo!

it will probably out last you... especially if you got more than 1 set.

What charger are you guys using? I have a Hitec x1 and it charges each battery pack in under 14mins. At 6amps 7.4v(2s),,i get about 30mins runtime what am i doing wrong? Has anyone used this charger for this set? It takes about 40mins to full charge my erevo 3s lipo

I'd look into a better charger. Take it from me, I had one of those, and it ruined quite a few of my batteries. It stopped balancing correctly. Took me about four ruined packs before I figured out it was my charger.
I upgraded to an icharger and love it.
addicted much....
I use the Hitec 4X. I charge 4 batteries at once. I can charge 6 amp per battery max. I always charge on balance mode, never regular or fast charge. It takes about an hour to put the batteries into storage mode (3.8v) after I have used them. It takes 45 min to fully charge (4.2v) once the batteries from storage (3.8v). It takes a little over an hour to charge from fully discharged (3.4v) to (4.2v). Buy a cell checker and you can test the battery through the balancing plug to check your voltage to see if you have a fully charged battery. I have not had any problems with my lipos or nimh with this charger. I really like mine.
The charger i have is the problem im noticing, makes sense after seeing the avg charge time is much much longer than mine. Whats a decent charger with out having pay premium for it. I looked at the hitec x4 and it looks great but after seeing the price wow its expensive if you only have one truck and 2 lipos. I just need a simple charger that works, these lipos are new only ran it 3 times so far and would hate to ruin them.

Best bang for the buck is iCharger... either a 106B or a 206B.
Both will need a power supply.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.
I noticed they have a 7200mah 70c pack now. Any one know if it fits the summit? If so, would the stock summit with its brushed motor even use the extra output?
