Aluminum Diff Housing out there?

I recently ordered two hot racing aluminum differential cups for the front and rear my question is is there a aluminum differential housing to fit the Slash 4x4? I want one.

I am looking for a stronger center diff cup. I just lost my second one. This time I only used it running 2s.

Thats a nice set up. How do you think the weight affect the truck?

Banjo, I'm near positive that their isn't any on the market. The housing itself takes a ton of abuse! All pressure from top end body hits will flex the towers. If its a hard flex, alloy housing would suffer greatly. Real heavy arm movement will flex the the bulks, affecting the mounts of the housing..... I feel their must be a significant reason for the years past without it being released by the aftermarket companies.

Just ordered the HR Alum. diffs havnt got them yet but will give a full report once I get them and have them installed!

Banjo I totally read you post wrong. As with what Dreaded said about your original post, no, there are no known aluminium replacements for the housing.
