If he is looking at a psp or Nintendo I can bet you be is into gaming. He was just adding that the psp and go on the Internet and Skype. Sorry bot I say no to the tablet and iPod for what the op is looking for. Tilting the device or touching the screen as your controls(plus its the same screen your game play is on) ruins the overall gaming experience. The DS and PSP are excellent gaming device. I'm a Xbox fanboy and do not own any Sony or Nintendo(solder them all) console but I love my psp. For pure gaming experience, graphics and game types the psp never let me down. I did have a DS lite and it was fun but the games(childish?) are too easy and ended up being boring with no real replay value. What sets the psp apart was the way the handheld felt in my hands and the screen. Also battery life is about equal for me. Didn't need to run full brightness on the psp bc of the better and wider screen. Looking to get the psp vita 3G in July. Sony did an amazing job on their first portable gaming device.
Simply the best. The beautiful Traxxas SRT and TCP
Get the DSi or the 3DS the PSP no longer has game support for it with any new titles due to the Vita. My family has 3 PSP's and trying to find games for it is a challenge. Especially games the kids would want to play.
Drive it, Break it, Upgrade it
I had a PSP a few years ago and loved it.Played it wayy too much; sold it.
Make it idiot-proof and along comes a better idiot

PSP and Vita do not use the same format. If you look at the Playstation store under PSP all they have is old games and a few newer sports games. Sony has abandoned the UMD's with the vita and have moved the direction of the DS using little flash cards to store the game info on.
Drive it, Break it, Upgrade it
how much is it at target any one know because online they have it at 100$
"Brakes? Who needs them? They only slow you down"
I doubt they have it in stores as its outdated.
but it still says so

A new vita is 250 and honestly can't wait to pick one up. The vita is cheaper then the original psp1000 when it hit the market at 300. Think of it this way. $100 for a psp 3000 or add another $150 and get a current and way more advance vita.

as i said its to much money does anyone know how much the 3000 is in stores im not talking about the vita
"Brakes? Who needs them? They only slow you down"
that price is probably online only, you'd be lucky to find a psp in stores and personally don't think its worth it. This is the year of new gaming technology.
