TQ3 Causing Twitching w/ Throttle Servo

Last night I was testing the servos on a recent purchase of a 3.3 T-Maxx. The throttle servo was twitching when I had it about halfway open. If I had the truck WOT or Full Brake, it did not twitch and also did not twitch sitting still. I swapped the crystals to another remote I had and the twitching went away. I then put the crystals for my Rustler into the "bad remote" and it caused twitching on that truck as well. So I know it is the controller causing the twitching


I took the controller apart and all the wires are attached to the chip board for the throttle. Anyone else have ideas on how to fix the controller or am I better off buying a new one?

Probably better off getting a different one... but it could be just a wore out pot for the throttle.

I do have a spare controller with a broken antenna mount and I am about to solder the wires that snapped off it here in a few. Can you clarify wore out pot? Is this something I can swap with the other remote?

pot = potentiometer

If you have a "spare parts" radio, just swap over the entire trigger mechanism.

Swapped over the POT and wala! It works.
