Which is better a glow plug igniter or the one with the EZ start? I haven't switched to the pull start just because my revo take quite awhile for it to fire. I was just wondering if an igniter might make it easier to start. Or just heat up the engine with a heat gun first?
Pull the blue wire and get the ignitor you will have faster start ups if the motor is tuned right... I always have
i ditched easy start system and put pull start on with ignitor
as above, got tired of dead batteries and running out of charge in the field, for the cost of a battery and all the hassle you may aswell buy a pull start and ignitor.
Take a glow ignitor so your EZ Start Battery will last longer. And that is also 1 less cable![]()

Revo 3.3 #5309. 25% Nitro fuel.
I use ignitor for first start of day after that I just use the starter once the engine has heat it's easy to start
I went to a pull start but I'm still using the ez start wand to ignite the glow plug. I've just removed the red and black wires/terminals from the ez start harness. Press button on wand and pull, works great until I finish my gallon than ill pick up an ignitor next trip to the hobby shop. The battery in the wand lasts forever like this obviously.
