I want to know if the Traxxas EZ Peak Plus charger can balance WHILE charging. I know if can balance lipo batteries but can it do BOTH at the same time? I do not want to have to balance the batteries and then charge them. That would take way to much time.

Ya, it can balance and charge the batteries at the same time.

Most, if not all, balance chargers balance while charging.

Some of the higher end chargers let you choose when to balance... like my 206B, I can choose when to balance charge so that it is not needlessly trying to balance throughout the entire charge cycle. I have it set to only balance at the CV phase so it can complete charges a wee bit faster and I still get the full benefits of balance charging.

Balance charge every time.
It really does not take that much longer and it is safer for both you and your batteries.

Choosing balance does both at the same time

When I balance charge my duel 3s lipos on the ez peak plus it times out at 120 mins before it says full. Is that normal?

That depends on the capacity of the packs.

Yes, the EZ Peak as a capacity shut off. Just raise the limit.
