Only bodies I would go with is proline or jconcepts, just go to their site and go to 1/10th shortcourse body section
ok which one from both sites or either is your favorite

I really like the looks of the PL Flo-Tek body. I just hate cutting out all of those holes.
The only thing I don't like about this body is that the body demples do not line up correctly.
Submarine Qualified, Chief Inducted, Navy Retired
I like the proline pro-2 body's
Slash 2wd, Slash 4x4, 30th digger, Rustler VXL
I really like this Dodge Ram body.

And this Proline Flo Tek is also a favorite.

see im trying to find something realistic. isnt there like a old chevy pickup body out there now????
SLASHING UP WITH MY PEDE
I think Proline makes a 1972 Chevy truck body and I'd need to look on line but I have see some make a 50's or 60's chevy truck body.

Proline or jconcepts makes awesome bodies, it all depends on your style and a paint job goes a long way. Doesn't have any cutouts yet but you get the idea.

2wd slash, PL LCG, CC 3800, Powerstrokes, S6040
I just won a custom painted Parma 55 body. All i know is what ever body you get use some shoe goo and drywall tape on the major stress points like mounting holes and along the front and rear bumper areas. I think i may do 1 full layer on the Parma body when i get it.. Post pics when your get what you get.

ok will the summit body fit or not?

I have seen the Slash with a Summit body. Might have to get extended body posts for the rear and trim the wheel wells but i have seen them. If i remember right in the Slash Gallery there are pics. The Summit body is gonna be more open wheel than if it had a SCT body. Some tracks wont let you race SCT if the truck is open wheel.

whys that. in the pic of it on a website it says it uses stock mounts?
SLASHING UP WITH MY PEDE
The Parma site says. "On the SLASH shown, we moved up the rear mounting bar and replaced the stock front body mounts with 2.5" long Parma nylon body posts #18049." Following that advise, it looks like the front would would rub the bumper. I also had to trim the back bumper on the 55 to accommodate the slash bumper. I'm sure you can adjust to make it work, I just did what they recommended and it seems to have worked nicely.
ok ill probably cut spots to make it fit. i have proline extended mounts
