Gears
I was wondering what would be the best spur and pinion gear ratio to get for my 3906, I'm getting the
Mamba Monster esc and the 2200kv motor

May i suggest a quick browse through this link, and read up on putting a brushless system in a 3906 e-maxx. A couple suggestions for better performance are included http://robotwars.00server.com/emaxxupgrade.html Now with that said. Id start around 20t pinion/72 spur due to the fact the 3906 is a BIT lighter than the newer maxxes. My 3906 is lighter i know that. Welcome to the forum. peace.

i have upgraded alot of things to put the bl in it diffs, axles, driveshafts, etc...but thanks for the link ill be upgrading some more off of that link thank you very much!
