My 2wd is crappin out on me again. The front pins that hold the hex broke so now when I try to undo the bolt on the wheel the threaded pin holding the wheel nut just spins. What the am I supposed to do?
Please:
watch the language;
try to use correct punctuation;
try to use capitals at the beginning of sentences;
find a descriptive title. Example: something other than "Sooo" or "Helppp"
Being able to understand you = being able to better help you.
Thanks.

I don't understand how the roll pin is breaking, the only think I can think of is you over tightened it
You must be beating the snot out if that thing.
Especially breaking that part.
Do you run in wet conditions a lot?
That calls for triple the upkeep.
But you managed to break one of the strongest parts of the truck.
No a fence but dont think the slash is to blame.

I remember hearing. If you push the front end of your truck down to the ground you should be able to lift up the tires just slightly off the ground. This is so when your front end suspension has enough give to keep the forces that break stuff from focusing soley on the front axles.
Sorry I cant explain the reasoning behind this, but I would be willing to bet you cant do this with yours.

Unless that axle pin had a serious factory flaw it is a solid steel dowel.How is that pin that holds the hex on strong I broke it from driving?
Normal driving will not break it,a hard impact,seized bearing,or letting it rust up could all be factors.
How old is your slash,and how long did it take to break?
Something can take a hit and not show the damage instantly,this could be what happened to you.
My grandson will often say but I barely hit the jump,but forgets to inform me of the wall he slammed into five minutes before that,lol.
Look on the bright side,it cost's less then $3 to replace both front stub axles.![]()

Okay wait I broke. The pin holding the hex on not the roll pin so now I can't unscrew the bolt holding my wheel on there trenches
Not sure how you know you broke the pin since you can not get the wheel off. Sounds like a stripped wheel hex which would give the same symptom. Take to arm off the chassis and remove the steering linkage and see if you can get in through the back with a pair of curved needle nose to hold it still.
Drive it, Break it, Upgrade it
How would that pin give before the plastic hex...ONE THE FRONT WHEELS!?!? Pictures would be very helpful![]()
