It won't necessarily make the car go faster just by using it vs the MM Extreme. One major plus for the XL2 is that it has datalogging capabilities. That has come in handy for me when my car ran slower on 6s vs 4s. I was able to see that my batteries were dropping too much voltage causing the car to go slower. The datalogging can be a very handy tool.

Nope. No Castle esc on this car. The stock one does operate pretty good for a stock XO-1 though. Never really had much trouble out of that.

What are you running? I can only think of a couple more that would be worthy.

with the xl2 esc you wouldn't have to unlock anything to get a 100 mph would you?? also I was wondering if I had an Xl2 with a 750 kv setup what kind of speeds I would see we have access to a lot of road so I was curious

no unlocking on an XL2....and with a 750kv you will go slower....less KV equals less RPM at a given voltage.

The problem you'll run into is finding the right gears. You can gear it to the moon but will still be limited by rpm.
