I am working on a Pro Line Apocalypse body for my Summit: I also added a Vengeance 4" LED Light Bar. Truck is also rolling on Pro Line Big Joes 2. The exo cage goes on next, and arrives soon.

Sorry about the grainy iPhone Images.

Looks pretty agressive without the roll cage.

I bought my Summit today. It is my first R/C car since I was a kid. I was into Helis for a while, and thought I'd try this area of the R/C world out too. I hope to learn a lot from you all.

Today I installed a fan on the EVX-2, because sometimes especially when crawling on a hot day, the electronics become very warm. So I took a little 30mm fan frame and attached it on the heatsink with 2 screws. I fed the fan through the non-BEC battery. It works perfect for now - no more than 35-40 degrees Celsius on the heatsink on a hot day!

Thanks for the feedback on the Apocalypse body! I will mock it up with the cage before I drill the holes, maybe it does look better without!

I installed my rc4wd light bar, proline roof rack and put the stock light bar I had for a rear light bar. Had lots of fun doing all this today 😁

Ok, I finally got around to uploading pictures of my new Summit body.

Also, the most intense, frustrating, servo install ever. I had to quite literally cut corners to make the servos fit, since their wire leads are so darn short. I even used servo wire extensions, and yet still no dice.

Well I finished up the body on the Summit for now, I decided I liked the look with the Exo cage, and I am happy with the results, this is my first attempt at new body.

Installed a wing and mounted the Rat Rod body. I will mask the body so I can paint the body.

Just rebuilt the truck.. Something blocked my drivetrain so I searched for the reason. Turns out the locknut of the front center driveshaft came loode an locked it up! Was very good to clean the truck i got it used and the previous owner didn't clean it before he sold it...

Anybody know if the proline apocalypse body comes with the decals to make the body look weathered just like in the pics?

No they do not come with decals to make them look like that!! Not sure what all he did but here is mine it's painted olive drab green on the inside and outside!! If you don't paint the outside you will get the glossy look from the lexan!!

Did you paint it on the outside with the olive drab?

Yes both inside and outside are painted!! Only way to get that matte look!! If you flip over and scratch the paint it makes it harder to notice since both sides are painted! You will see the gloss though where you have scratched it!!

The pic you were asking a question about he didn't paint the outside of the shell you can tell by how glossy it is!! If you want the dull look with no gloss both sides of the shell need to be painted!!

Since I have two Summit's, I've thought about that, but honestly I love each one so much in their own way, I don't know I could bring myself to sell one... Especially my orignal one that was stolen, was missing for 6 months, and then I got it back...

I could never sell one of my 1/10 Summits but that 1/16 Summit I have is a whole other story.

Converted it back to a stock brushed setup with the Titan 775 and EVX-2. I love the crawling characteristics with the brushed motor........
