Not bad, the xo1 wheels kinda work pretty well with that body.

The XO-1 wheels do look good with many different applications!

Also received my Futaba GYC430 Drift Gyro. I'm planning on installing this in the XO-1 to see how well it works in keeping the car in line while accelerating, but I would like to also try it in the GT8 for its drifting potential. Apparently with one of these you can drift like DK in FF Tokyo Drift Or like you have four wheel steering

Did you use the same 70mm length turnbuckles in the front and back? Will these t works work with the stock rally plastic ends?

Yes, although I used the RPM ends on all my builds, the T-Works will fit the TRX ones. I used 4mm x 51mm, 4 x 60 and 4 x 70mm Titanium Turnbuckles for the Protrac widened arms.

As you asked, the drive shafts used for the Protrack kit were MIP Racing:
MIP #11104 X-Duty CVD Kit (2 Required for Front and Rear)
MIP #10133 X-Duty Front Axle (2 Required for Front Left and Front Right)
MIP #10115 7mm Hex Adapter Kit, Traxxas Slash 4x4, Rally

Another option is the XO-1's CVD shaft with aluminum parts. I've confirmed it works with the Protrac arms as well.

It's definitely not more efficient, but it's what's been stuck in my head for a decade or so! Where were you back then to tell me I could do it with one less key stroke?
