Co-worker score a REVO 3.3

yeah guys, not sure what year this is but, it sure has the extended chassis, opti drive and with 27mhz radio, even have the 5 cell nihm pack battery and he got it for $50 and since he does not know nothing about Hobby grade RC, he hand it over to me to get it going again . I did not find any major fixes just lots of cleaning due to being stored for very long. I'm very surprise with the engine when I took it apart, other than some dried nitro on top of the piston head, the motor looks like it has not run for very long (probably not broken in all the way) cause I can still see the criss cross marking at the sleeve and still have lot of compression. I've ordered few parts already like the pull start (didn't come with electric wand), front set of a-arms (only have one upper arm broken), FOC kit, ignitor, & couple spare of glow plugs. I did notice one of the front carrier, (while I was taking all the pictures ) the pivot ball looks like it pop out a few times but, I have a spare for that.

this must be an old one cause its got 2055 steering servos but then again, its got my head scratching cause it has extended chassis?

That looks like the 2006 model 5309 revo because of the shocks and the air filter.

I would also replace all the pillow balls dust covers and the axle shaft covers too.

my truck has a custom built gears inside the tranny to withstand BL power.

Non, just a receipt of few parts I bought off ebay to get it going.

ahh that one, it has all that, I took it all out and get ready for the FOC kit that I bought off ebay.

finally got the last piece of the puzzle in the mail today and that is the pull start and also went to LHS to get the glow ignitor and a spare glow plug just incase. I have not played nitro in more than 2 years and to my surprise my 33% nitro still in very good condition, it fired up with in just 3 pulls. now its time to give this back to the rightful owner
