That is probably the nicest looking Pede I have ever seen. Great job. Those chrome Desperados look excellent with the black body. Where do I find those little fancy washers you used?
Looks like someone did his research! All of the right parts in the right places, nicely done. The only thing that I would even consider changing is the chassis.
It would almost be painful to be the one to put the first scratches on that thing, but its too well built to spend its life as a shelf-queen.

Love the black look. Very nice lookin truck. I wonder what black rims with a gold bead lock would like.
This space reserved
Or chrome rims with a gold beadlock 8) nice truck loot.
Ya can't polish fertilizer...
Thanks, and oo yesThis will be my forth Pede build. And my 7th Traxxas build. I know this platform backwards n forwards now. Im happy with the stock chassis. The RPM front skid makes all the difference in the world, and im happy with the way I got it wired. I feel I got the recipe to a very, very strong Pede 2wd.. My Pede can take some massive hits.

Very nice look indeed. I agree on keeping the chassis stock black, it matches the build. Grab some pics of the black trenchers mounted on to see how they look on this beast.
man I need that aluminum tie bar for my build!
Man I have always enjoyed your builds; Where do you get the nitro can look a likes or what exactly are those;
Live life to the fullest
Dude are you kidding me, I feel like I'm looking at a Rolex lol. Loot you nailed this P2de brother! Thanks for sharing this with us.

Man, this looks so cool, I'm diggin' the chevy body.![]()
With great brushless comes great responsibility.
Thanks Revo!![]()
Good thinkn G! Done! I will... I also have some Desperados, on G-locs. We'll see how this looks tooo![]()
Thanks Jezza. They are my "NOS" Bottles. It all started as a way to hide the wire coming out of the servo, than turned into a "signature" of mine that has found its way into all my RCs![]()
Thanks D! I know right.. I'm just gonna have to go crash it into something, to break it in, cuz she is just so pretty I hardly want to touch her. Man are these Powerstrokes soooo plush.

Very nice job.:thumbup. That is one sharp looking pede. I was going to rush to build a pede before winter get here in N.H. Now seeing your newest build i think i'am going to take my time.
How do you like that Reedy motor?
Last edited by snowfighter; 10-27-2013 at 09:08 AM.
Thanks bro. I keep em. I have several to never have down time, and so other can use em with me. My family is all about em now, so I let em drive my trucks. Its a great time when u got two going at once.. Lots of fun!!
I appreciate that. Ya its all about taking your time. But it can be done quick. As for the Reedy motor, I honestly can't recommend it. I'm probably gonna swap it back out for a Velineon I got sitting around, Until I get a Castle 2400 or 3800.

Loot. Thanks for your input on the Reedy motor. Castle motors are they way to go.IMO To be honest i have other hobbies that cost $$. So i will have to pick at my build plus the busy season for me is just around the corner. So the pede will see plenty of down time anyway.
Nice attention to detail.
My Black & Blue Rally is faster than your color...
What kind of Polish did you use on the wheelie bar wheels after deanodizing them? Did you use oven cleaner to remove no?
Very nice and tastefully done!
Where do you get the traxxas bar in front of the bulk head?
The tie bar is what I'm referring to?
I use Mother's Alloy wheel polish. You can pick that up at most hardware/ big box stores.
TRA2532
Used to be a guy that sold them on there with an array of colors. He seems to come and go. Anyways there are a couple of color options available.

Thanks. I like the ones that say traxxas on them like in this build. The link does not list them. Think they will be listed again? Or do you remember the sellers name by any chance. I could ask if he plans to make more.
Thanks for Chiming in Digger. And hes right. Mothers Aluminum & Mag Polish is the same stuff I use.
To De-Anodize, one must use the Yellow Can of Easy Off oven Cleaner, Spray it and let sit for 5 minutes or so... Re-soaking it in areas as needed with a Q-tip
Than Polish with Mothers Polish. I like to use the blue shop towels, they work the best by far.
Small can of the stuff goes a ALOOOONG way.
Looks like they got a blue one. Now my blue pede can get one also. sweet...

Also... Gold Specs New and Dedicated Body. The black one is going to be my new basher body (poor Raptor got destroyed) and I'm in the process of reinforcing this one as we speak...
I got something special in store for this one, and its gonna be a shelfer body only.... Think the fit of a H2 with a whole blinged out look, looks terrific.
Btw, This is an HPI H2 body.
Fitment went well, Had to cut a tiny piece off the MJ mount to get the body to fit. Close call though, it almost didn't based on the hoods design.
IM gonna go pretty far with this body. I got some ideas, but still not 100% sure on the final outcome. I'm gonna aim to please and hopefully some shock and awe on this one. Wish me luck![]()

As for Hardware, Yup. RC Stainless. They work great for me. I have a few areas I use black oxide, and I'm good to go.

Ancient chinese secret?
Hey loot. How's the hummer body coming? Great build. This is your best one yet.
Where do you get the mesh wire covering and what size is it? I want it to be as tight to the wire as possible and yours looks nice.
Great looking ride other than the bow tiejk!!!
