Hi speedpro22, just like you said, Canada's comming to the rescue!!!lol I live in Quebec province, so snow, i know a lot about it!
First, you should put wd40 or any good drylube, on every bearing and bolts. Or you can use marine grease on the bearing. Second, be sure to keep your batteries dry and far away from salt (put them in a plastic bag or something like that). After the runs, Wash the truck whit clear hot water , again put some wd40 on the bearing and screws and let it dry! Then, your truck shouldn't have any problems and is ready for the next bashing sessoin!

    I hope it helps! Cheer!

Remember that cold plastic will break easier, warm showers after a run are a good idea. Air compressors and towels are good for removing extra moisture.

Dusty motor and Outerwear shroud covers are your friend.

Snow bashing is awesome, going big isn't so risky when you land on a pillow.

Yes, even hardcase batteries, as they are not waterproof, and will keep the water in the case. As for salt, it is rust's best friend, it will find every possible ways to get in the bearings and electronics( even waterproofed electronic is not 100% saltproof).

edit: For waterproofing hardcase batteries, you can plastidip them, this way, you will be good, but always check for water in the case, as i said, there is always a small chance that water will get in.

+1 on the outerwear or dusty covers. Snow will add up on the chassis and add a lot of weight. Plus the cover helps a lot with moisture on metal and electrical parts.
There is snow 6months of the year where I live, hardly ever break anything unless it's real cold and I land a big jump bad. Just the suspension arms and body.
Also lipo's don't seem to like being run cold for me so I'll try and not let them freeze. Ie, leave them in a car or the house until I need to put them in the Summit.
Have fun, go big on the jumps

Don't forget to stuff the bearings full of marine grease, other wise rust can get in and cause rust!
