Question Upgrading a Smartech Speedy Car to trx .15 pro

    Hello all,

I am new to the RC hobby. Bought a rustler VXL about 2 months ago and totally love the Traxxas brand now. I recently found an old Smartech Speedy car which is a 1:10 Nitro buggy laying waste in a friend's backyard. Was totally surprised that is actually works. All I had to do was buy a new remote for it.

Anyway, my question is that will the TRX .15 engine fit on this buggy? Although there seems to be nothing wrong with the current engine, I dint mind upgrading it if it'll perform better. I could even just order it and keep it on the side until the current one goes bad.

I have no idea about Nitro RCs at all so would much appreciate some advice and anything else I can do to upgrade it. Below are the specs for the car:

Best to contact the manufacturer of the car to determine what can/cannot fit. With enough money anything can fit and it may be in your benefit to take a look at the specs of the TRX .15 to determine if it meets your needs.
