My sons ford F150 and my VW. Mostly stock. Have added bearings.

These are proline 1/16 bodies. The beetle was perfect but I had to dremel the wheel cutouts a bit for the truck



F150 next to his Tamiya midnight pumpkin. Yep thats a rustler body on there.

Just mounted the GPM shocks I ordered, screws where not super good quality so ended up ruining one of the heads. :/ Otherwise it is pretty stock except for the GPM alu steer link and LaTrax metal gears and a Team Associates 18T diff kit for front, and the LaTrax fixed alu axle in the rear. Savöx servo, with metal gears.

I have some problems though, sometime when I steer and give full throttle the car really don't don't go forward so fast. Not sure if the stock motor might be giving out?

Just got mine in today. Have a few mild mods planned for it in the coming week.

Dyed the wheels black, and did my own decals. Almost ready for the stock class at Larry's RC's this Friday. Still going to figure out a wing.

I got it at toys r us. Most 1/16 scale toy bodies from jada toys or new bright will fit.

The worst part about these bodies is that they can break because of its thin plastic structure. I’m mounting my bodies with epoxy and magnets

Post a picture when you’re done! Just make sure there’s enough space for the shock tower to fit under the Ford GT body, if worst case scenario; your ford GT body might sit a little high on the chassis. I think there might be enough room though.
