    Esc question

Is the sidewinder micro good for the merv? And can I waterproof it? My vxl3m broke and I want a waterproof esc. I would like to use the sidewinder micro if it can be waterproofed.

    Way too small.
SV3 if you want to keep it Castle... or any decent 60 amp ESC.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.

Yes get Sv3, or Sv2 and waterproof it yourself if you want to save a few bucks

@Feivel:does the sv3 fit in the erevo 1:16? I think the width is with 38mm to big.

It can be mounted flat if you swap ESC and rx position like here:

I Mount it with the above mentioned Metal L bracket.
You can find it in my build Thread.

I like it a lot and it Has already been driven through Rain and wet conditions.

This is really an great esc. I mount it also with the above metal plate. There is no space between the body and the esc but it works. The breaks are fantastic. Yesterday I made an frontflip :-)
Unfortunately my steering servo is broken. I don't no why. Now I by one with a metalgear. Also I bought the usb link cable vor the sv3 but I still wait of it.
