    Thumbs up Getting later today

I got the email that I can go and pick up my traxxas rally at 230. Ugh hate time!!!! Okay so what are some really good upgrades to get on it. Already had them get me a clear body and paint. What tires are good for it. Also how good are the body posts? Should I grab any spares?

Does price make a difference or are you open to whatever ? If you are I think I would just do a 17mm hex Hub conversion. I did it on mine and I haven't looked back. Looks more scale to me. Look at my thread.

Okay then if it's like that, then just buy some short course wheels you like and some bandito sc for street. Off road I don't know since I don't care much for it. I would rather do 17mm hex conversion tho..

And you want to get rear bearing carriers in aluminum. And order a chassis brace online from VG.

I just have the red traxxas ones. I only replaced that because I heard it a big weak spot in the back that likes the break. VG should save your chassis and maybe some driveshafts. But number one thing is to add aluminum bearing adapter! Or else your plastic one could melt and seize your bearing causing it too over heat and kill your motor.

No I'm running the velineon. I wish to upgrade but my funds aren't as great as others... But it's all good with the stock. I get a solid 44 mph on 3s. And a good 30 on 2s.

If you're not afraid to gear up I'd say go for it. If you hear up you could probably get 50 mph on 3s. I run 12/54 gearing.

I give it a shot and keep you updated. I am also wondering if my local rc track would let me race it with the 4x4s. Fingures crossed. would have a blast racing it.

Edit 13/54 gearing. Yeah give it a try. It's basically a Short Course truck with a car style body.
