    My new Stampede + upgrades

Hey guys, well just over 3 weeks ago I took another plunge into the RC world and bought a Stampede 4X4 VXL after owning a nitro Rustler and an HPI RS4 in the past. I can tell you from the get go I enjoy electric 100 times better then the nitro cars I have owned. I have already used this one more then the Rustler and RS4 combined in just 3 weeks.

This is one tough truck, I have landed all types of ways that I would expect it to come up broken but it kept on going like nothing happened. I have only broke it once but that was my fault for hitting a cinder block at almost full speed and broke the castor+steering block (reason to upgrade right!?). I haven't ventured yet out of the back yard or the street in front of my house but have plans to visit a local construction site and other various areas.

I have decided to keep it on 2S and will probably keep it that way for awhile, for the bashing I use it for 3S is too much. I have already started upgrading it with the following:

    - KHZ aluminum motor mount
    - Aluminum bearing adapter
    - Aluminum shock caps
    - Trenchers on desperado wheels (Of course!)
    - Aluminum hex hubs
    - ESC Van
    - Integy motor heatsink/van
    - JConcepts body lowering mounts
    - Aluminum castors+ steering hubs
    - Aluminum rear hubs
    - Clear gear cover
    - Aluminum clutch pads
    - T Bone front bumper + servo guard
    - RPM front+ rear arms
    - Proline Raptor body
    - Shock covers

    Some pictures:

And a quick video messing around on my home made ramp:

Ohhhh the P4de is sooo much fun. Really miss bashing. Winter Sucks! Nice video and pics! Your editing made it seem like you made the turn(off camera)to hit the jump super quick.
The message above or below may or may not be true

Great video. I'd be curious to see if a better shock setup would help reduce the "bounce" we see on the landings. I've got the same truck and want to buy new shocks but I'm not sure if it will make a big enough difference.

Lol yeah it did, I didn't do it intentionally though. It was my first time messing with iMovie on my laptop and I put the clips together the best I could!

I am sure stiffer springs and/or heavier weight oil will do the trick. I found the stock setup to be too soft and I have replaced the oil with 50 weight.
