Veileneon 3500 motor upgrade

Has anyone ever tried to run a traxxas veileneon 3500 esc motor combo in the kb rally car. If so what's the difference in torque and speed vs. the stock veileneon 380. Is it worth the upgrade?

VXL 3s is a power hog.
With the 1/16 size batteries...run time would be horrible.
Not nearly as efficient as some of the castle systems.
Plus...it raises the COG going with a BB setup.
if you want a little better performance...keep the 380 motor and upgrade the esc to a Castle S3

Does the sidewinder 3 esc with the 380 motor have faster speeds and longer run times with the stock 7.2 volt 1200mah battery Can the S3 be programmed with the castle link USB programer and still be compatible with the 380 motor?
