    LaTrax Teton 1/18

New vehicle from Latrax. looks promising. Like a scaled down Telluride.

Its funny because I love the Latrax series and I actually predicted Latrax would drop a 1/18 buggy but I think this will do. I have the Alias, passed on the Rally because I have enough on-road vehicles. Will definitely try to drop a lipo/castle motor in this beast and let her rip!

How does it compare to the Rally for speed? For $150 I might have to try one. Been happy with the little Rally cars, might be fun to run around. Are they really shipping now? You guys did a great job of keeping this one quite, I have not even heard a rumor you were coming with this. BTW are you going to have a Teton Forum under LaTrax?

I'm pretty sure they're gonna start a forum for it SOON. I just happened to be subscribed to Latrax on youtube and they just dropped this vid today so I posted here in the alley.

Ya looks like it could be fun to have around the house for the Grandkids and all. Great catch on your part. i tried to buy one from the overview page and it must not be in Traxxas system yet. i was unable to snag one.

I just got all the parts I needed last week. I've been too busy with my Slash 4x4 to fix it yet.

    EDIT: V Ok, I lol'd!

    LaTrax Teton 1/18

I think terrain like this is the inspiration for the name:

    (Grand Teton National Park)

Am i the only one that is VERY surprised that the Latrax cars are not using the TRX battery connectors?
This looks pretty cool though for the price point.

It's definitely going to be a good one. Metal ring and pinons, oil shocks, and ball bearings out of the box.
Only thing I could ask for is a slipper clutch.

I agree. I just buy the converter from the LHS. Seems kinda silly to me, all my batteries have the traxxas connectors including the 2500mah lipos Ill use for this. I don't understand their reasoning.
