Dear Leadies and Gentleman,
Ive bought a Teton as christmas present for my sun.
That thing is really fun for both of us
Did some videos too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoE-bn2Kuw8
BUT theres something i noticed:
After a few (3-4) runs in training mode i noticed the a little metal thingy is almost fell out of the plastic part i think is called "driveshaft".
I linked a picture to show what part im talking about:
https://traxxas.com/sites/default/fi...ducts/7650.jpg
First the right rear and later the left rear parts are started to fall out during operation.
The front parts are still intact.
Im prity sure its not good.
Now i need to check it every five minutes to not loose the things.
We also plan to do outdoor runs in sport mode, i think it will be risky with those parts.
What should i do?
Best regards!
Ben
What I did was use super glue to hold them in place. Those are small pins that keep the axle in the differential outdrive. The axles are also called driveshafts. Now I use steel axles, and the pins don't fall out on thoseThe original plastic axles/driveshafts kept snapping on me.
Doesn't need to be fancy. Just needs to run.
