Exclamation Clear Gear Cover for LCG Slash Chassis

I have an LCG Chassis for my Slash.

Does anyone make a clear gear cover for the LCG ?

Could be wrong but I don't believe so. Just run without a gear cover if you want.

The clear cover AIN'T ALL THAT. I have 2 on my 2 trucks and the first couple of times you clean them they get soo scratched up you can't see through them any more. So the benefit of a clear cover is gone.

Sorry for confusion I have 2 HCG. Just not personally happy with how easy it scratches and becomes UNCLEAR where it is unable to see through.

Not me, I wanted one for self time as my clear 2wd gear cover was ruined after the first run just as pro mod explained.
Pretty much worthless for real world use.

Sorry to bump such an old thread...but other than the chance for debris to get in there...is there any other disadvantage to just leaving the gear cover off?
The reason I ask is that I have a VG Racing chassis brace...and have to remove it anytime I want/need to take the gear cover off.

Gear protection is the main reason for the cover. I hope you have better luck with the chassis brace than I did. I will never use one again.
