    1/16 slash tires

What options do I have as far as tires for the slash? Can I use the trenchers?

I like hpi pirelli tires. They work great on any surface and they last forever. The old tire is 6 months old and has as much tread as the new tire.

am using vaterra kalahari tires they are slightly bigger then stock. The trenchers are 2.2 way to big for the stock gearing

did you have to change the pinion at all to run these? I'm looking into these for my box stock mini slash.

Nope. They are almost the exact same size. You will need a 26mm touring car rim with 0 offset. Something like the hpi vintage rims.

I just wanted to make sure I didn't have to gear down, I had someone suggest dropping 2-5 teeth and monitoring the motor temp
