    Battery fitment questions

What batteries fit in the stock location ? I know the 1/16 scale nickel metal batteries from the mini summit and merv fit with no issues. But what lipos are a drop in fit ? Any links to what you guys are using would be great.

    Thanks !!

The Traxxas 25C 2S 2200 MAH LIPO fits in the stock location. It doesn't rub on the center drive shaft. You won't be able to use the battery hold-down, but it's such a snug fit that it doesn't come out even when jumping/bashing.

Which will be the best way to upgrade Teton from standard battery to Traxxas 25C 2S 2200 MAH LIPO, because I think this is a major upgrade.
Can anyone explain all the steps involved?

    Thanks.

The Teton v1 came with tamaya connectors(white rectangular with two holes).
The Teton v2 have the traxxas connectors.
You will need the tamaya to traxxas adapter or cut and solder on the traxxas connector for v1. Nothing need be changed for v2 as it already has the traxxas connector, just buy the battery.

I use the Traxxas lipos for the mini slash, 1/16 merv, etc. and I use Velcro to strap it down and it works great! I also use the Traxxas EZ Peak Plus charger. https://traxxas.com/products/parts/b...mah-74v-2S-25C https://traxxas.com/products/parts/c...peakplus4ampid You should be able to get the battery cheaper on Ebay, Amazon, or your LHS. I got mine for I think 32$ on Amazon, but now I can't find it there.
Doesn't need to be fancy. Just needs to run.
