the body looks very nice, I'm not liking the wing though, you think you can mount the stock wing and see how it looks like?

I'm on the fence about it myself.
I don't have the stock body to try the wing though. I'll likely pick one up though because I doubt I'll actually run the body at high speeds.

So right now the two lights you see on there are the brake lights at 50% brightness. They are on at 50% all the time. When I'm moving forward and hit the brake they go to 100% brightness.
The two outer lights are for now just the turn signals so they only come on when I steer.
I plan on connecting the two but putting a diode in between so that the brake lights will work with both but the blinker will only drive the outer ones.
I haven't done a reverse light yet, but I can the controller has a port for it.
I also put lights in the side exhaust pipes. Right now they are orange and stay on steady. I want to change them to red and figure out a way to make them flash/flicker when coming off and hitting the throttle so simulate fuel burning.
I'll take some pictures of the wiring tomorrow

Are the lights bright enough to drive in the pitch dark?

They are pretty good. In this picture the two inner lights are on 100 % and the middle two are 50%. The outer ones are off they are my blinkers.

Are you putting that soda can of a motor in a rally? That's thing is huge and looks like a lot of fun.

Rally turned gt8 turned slash. Traxxas is very versatile.

    Great build and transformation.
For the exhaust of the vette, have you thought of getting smoke similators frim drift cars. That woould look slick on you ride. I will try and find the site that sells them.

I have looked into it. I picked up a BEC recently just to cover the increased power draw. I also picked up two red lasers. Piece by piece on it.

Just wanted to check in and state this thing is still going strong.

Spent the summer as a copy of my Chevy Volt.

Now that the chill is in the air. Back to a crawler/truck.

Put the slipper clutch back in over the center diff.
Put 500k weight in the diff's to almost lock them up.
    14p/54s in over 21p/50s

Key changes this time on suspension.
    Front
Rustler rear shocks and springs. They are shorter than the slash/rally rear shocks. About 1/4 inch. But about 1/4 longer than the stck fronts.
    Rear
XO-1 rear shock tower to get the added lift with the stock shocks and used double black springs over the double blue that I run for street.
The XO-1 shock tower is is a good 1/4 shorter which is what gives me my lift.

Going on 2 full years same chasis same.
I'd say I got my monies worth.

    New body

Oh and the crawler setting on the MM2 is amazing.
It sets the brake at 234% off throttle. Holds amazingly well on hills. Also allows reverse even if the motor is moving forward.

Just a periodic posting. Same chassis from day 1 started out as the rally. Had some fun at a construction site near by.
