    Brushless project

Im not gonna start Soon, but I thought I might share my plans. I am getting a castle creations mamba micro pro with 4100kv 0808 motor. I first will make it waterproof with liquid electric tape. Then I will install it all, and get the aluminum driveshafts. (why I'm waiting) also I will get some rpm shock guards if they do make them. Any tips?

I recommend the 5300kv motor has more than enough torque to do standing back flips and wheelies. Also has a higher top speed than the 4100kv. Thats my tip....

I have the 4100kv and I agree with duramaxin. These mamba motors have way too much torque and you won't notice a lack of torque with the 5300kv.

I like torque myself but is that much torque needed for such a light truck like the Teton? I mean, the way you guys promote 5300kv sounds like it's just like the E-Revo on 6s which is halfway overkill. I personally would love to just ride fast instead of hitting the throttle a little bit and it wheelies...constantly. Just my opinion.

I'm running my 4100kv 0808 motor with stock batteries though. I still love the set-up, its ultra reliable and doesn't overheat, but sometimes I want to go faster.

With the stock 10 tooth pinion your gonna prolly be right around 25. But lots and lots of torque so you can put on bigger pinions for even more speed.

My 5050kv with a 15t pinion is running 33 mph(per iPhone app). Gotta have a lot of open room to reach top speed and keep control.
