Just wondering if anyone is using this body on their Slash? I'm looking at picking up a basic Slash 4x4 and using the Pro Line body to make a 1/10th version of my uncles '13 Ingot Silver Raptor for his 50th birthday. If it turns out nice, I may do a second truck for myself, since I can't afford the real thing lol. Thanks in advance.

On my old slash I had a raptor body and I loved it. Wish I hadn't have sold it.

Mine used to be. I loved the look of the body but found it to be not very durable due to the sharper angles in the shape. It started cracking from almost the first drive, and that was with drywall tape, shoogoo reinforcing.
When I first painted it;
After it got used a little;
Then ended up getting trimmed down to more of a short course style after it was trashed. I wanted the body to sit lower without wheel rub;

Thats what australian slash also said about the sharp corners
Thanks for the heads up on the fragility of the body. The one I'm gonna do up for my uncle won't be used much, so I don't think that'll be a problem. Just a miniature, drivable version of what he owns.
I like the Raptor look, so I'm thinking of just getting a 4wd Slash and putting a Traxxas factory Raptor body on it.
Hmmm.. I have an unpainted Proline Scale Raptor... It may stay that way![]()
I just bought a new painted one, RED. Don't know which chassis I'm going to use it on tho...

I'll try anything once, maybe twice!
The red one above looks great and scale like, I like that!
