Just broke my RPM bumper (shame)

Hi all, I just broke my rpm bumper, I have not had it for all that long, and I wasn't going that fast when I crashed into a stone, and the bumper just snapped, I don't know if I should be mad at the rpm bumper for snapping under that, should I just buy a new one?

    Thanks,
    Spence

Rpm replaces parts lifetime warranty if you haven't altered it in anyway I believe

So even though I bought it off of ebay, RPM will replace it?
Would you go to RPM's website, and go to customer support or something to get a new one? I didn't alter my part in any way
    Thanks

You guys should go read the RPM warranty, it is not a no questions asked lifetime warranty like so many believe. They warranty material and workmanship but will not cover a part that is worn out or has been damaged in a crash or cold weather. That bumper looks like it has seen some use and maybe a little abuse to me. For the cost of the bumper and the shipping costs I personally would just go buy a new one.

I've broke two of them. When I contacted them about warranty was told only normal wear and tear is covered. You can email them with pics to see what they say. Was told mine had over tightened mount screws since it was tore at it and had been abused. I'm a really hard basher so of course it had been abused. Since I like them will just spend the $8 or and replace it again. They have saved a couple bulkheads and possibly a chassis But as dad stated its not no questions asked.

Try boiling it periodically. It rehydrates the plastic making it more flexible and less likely to break. I do it to all my arms, wings, bumpers, etc...

+1 for Tbone. Their warranty is amazing. I snapped one of my bumpers, sent them a pic and got a new one 3 days later. They ask for the pic to make sure its really broke.

Yeah, for as cool as that rpm bumper looks, it's garbage. I've had great luck with the stock bumper and its 3 bucks.

But the stock one offers less protection to the shock shafts. The stock one I have still is in good shape. So I think I will just stick with the stock one or buy a t bone

Yesterday I broke my rpm bumper too. Driver error tho, hit a trampoline full throttle just after getting my first brushless system. Today I ran without a bumper and I rolled my rustler, snapping the bulkhead and bending screws. So, what bumper is decent? I really liked my rpm one, and might put another one on, but don't know. Mine snapped in three pieces instead of two, so it was a hard hit and something was bound to break

No matter how good of a bumper you get, smashing into it at full speed, it's gonna break
If a RC never breaks, your doing it wrong

I'm becoming a better driver with it, and don't wanna snap more bulks after, and not looking to go for a aluminum bulkhead wither

Well if you look at my post earlier in this thread you'll see that I personally prefer T-Bone Racing's bumper. I've always felt the RPM bumper was overhyped on this forum. Try the TBone bumper and you'll never go back to the RPM
