Really, a 20mm can motor on the merv? Are you a pro racer? Nah... if using the stock ESC.

Merv stock got a 36mm can motor in brushed and 28mm can motor brushless...

The 0808 may be 4 pole but it's 2cm diameter motor... not even think about it, unless you are a pro racer! They tend to like extra small motors and super height savings!

Those motor's are for the 1/18 scales... or the speed freaks 1/24 scales! :P Some racer's use then on the mini8 but it's very small... stock was 24mm diameter and is allright!

    Just my 2 cents!
(but it can work... there is a market for small winnies...)

    Actually it's for my Teton.
Velineon 380 diameter is too big in this truck.

Well, ok....now you are talking! Still don't know if works with that ESC... just try, and see! Check temps and all be fine!

The 3M ESC does not work well with 4 pole motors.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.
