This Traxxas E-MAXX hobby has always been enjoyable and much fun. The hobby has been as much fun as it was when I was privileged to be the president of a car club. It's very few parts required to complete this 3905 E-MAXX.. Here are some pictures of the rebuild:

Somehow, the E-MAXX is still influential regarding R.C. Monster Trucks. This rebuild will remain a 1/10th scale as well.

Looks like the body with E-MAXX will remain as my favorite body for this rebuild. Oh, not just because "blue' is my favorite color. Traxxas has inspired me to do so: because Traxxas E-MAXX is displayed on the body, that certainly and clearly announces/displays what this rebuild is all about!!

Well E-MAXX fans, I'm yet "upgrading". However, this time I needed to upgrade an upgrade! The aluminum wheelie bar's tires, on all three E-MAXXs had to have upgrades after being purchased. They required to be much larger to protect - the upgrades. The first pic reveals how much smaller the tires were at purchase.

Well, this build was not an upgrade build: it was my first E-MAXX hobby build from scratch. It is now being transferred to brushless only. However and thankfully, I will yet be posting the TRAXXAS E-MAXX 3905 build! What can I say, I am a E-MAXX fan! The LORD has been and is good to humanity more than we know for these times.

This whole build is sick! Being newer to the RC world, do people actually use/play with something as detailed and nice as those? I'd be terrified to get it scratched or dirty!

5.SLO, this particular 1/8th scale build is a shelf-queen! It will be entered into competitions, which helps to gain parts also. 5.SLO, I do not want it scratched or dirty either.

Primarily, this is a Traxxas upgraded E-MAXX hobby build which I have had fun with. Oh, and it shall be proven to function well. Traxxas' E-MAXX Monster Trucks inspired me to do so; much more than other manufactures of radio/remote controlled miniature cars and trucks.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what type of competitions? By helping to gain parts, do you mean winning parts from the competition?

I absolutely love the beauty of your build, so I'm interested in what people do with them. I'm currently rebuilding my first Emaxx (I THINK it's a 3903?). I haven't had an RC car since I was a kid in the early 90's with Tyco stuff, so I'm having a ball tinkering with this thing.

5.SLO, long story short! It was and is the kindness of The LORD Who presented to me this hobby. I have been graced by HIM to make advancements with these fun TRAXXAS E-MAXX hobby builds!

I remember entering into a body build, given by the owners on their site. And a rare opportunity to win twice was given to me during those two presentations to win. The additional parts have been granted to me also and not by my request of anyone. Well, to let you know this hobby has been a gift to me by you know - WHO!

The hobby has been fun to me, because HE's the only ONE that has been advancing this lighthearted and cheerful pleasure with TRAXXAS.

As far as entering into contests, check online sir.

This was my first TRAXXAS E-MAXX 3905! I ended up with a second E-MAXX that I will be rebuilding also. My youngest son blessed me with his E-MAXX.

It was fun to own this E-MAXX back in the year "2009" and yet fun - still! I started upgraing many parts on it; only to discover all the former parts were yet available which I had stored. So, now it has been rebuilt with very few previous upgrades and purchased 3905 parts. The only thing left to finish the Traxxas will known R. C. Monster Truck is batteries.

The pics below reveals this fun process of the rebuild. I have been thankful for Traxxas for getting this particular R.C. started some years ago. Now, I could be somewhat bias or simply have interest in TRAXXAS' E-MAXXs because the E-MAXX has been a lighthearted and enjoying hobby pleasure.

Well, the final upgrades for this second- very much fun TRAXXAS E-MAXX - build is now moving to the brushless E-MAXX forum. All I know is the LORD has been so kind; which makes me very grateful!

Also, these TRAXXAS builds have been as much fun as being an owner of an upgraded vehicle and foundiing/president of a car club a few decades ago.

MUCH FUN - MUCH FUN - MUCH FUN! Thank you TRAXXAS again and again ...

I wonder if this particular - (UPDATED: 05/JAN/2019) - information is worthy of checking out for more knowledge of upgrading and repairs for our E-MAXX hobby?

This is the second rebuild which indicates how much fun TRAXXAS' E-MAXX has been. It's already as much fun as it was when purchased - eleven years ago. Now, I am anticipating the locations of the various parts required for this second rebuild.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone to help progress our purpose and acknowledgement of The SOURCE of our existence!

Hey Max! I haven't been on any rc website in at least 10 years.
I recently dug out my old E-Maxx and got to looking at it. This thing is a total beast. It's ready to run except for a esc and motor.
I found your thread and I see your old E-Maxx looks a lot like mine.
Good Job. I'm going to try and get mine mobile again.
How is the parts support looking these days?

    Hi macr0w!

I have been doing a lot of searching every since the E-MAXX has not been available to purchase from TRAXXAS. That has been the only way I have found parts- searching online. And though the TRAXXAS E-MAXX is not being reproduced now, fortunately there are hobby shops that yet have E-MAXX parts available.

The primary challenge is finding hobby shops that yet have the parts and some certainly have parts. That's one way I could continue those rebuilds. Of course check eBay and Amazon as well. I trust that helps to forward you in your hobby macr0w!

I still have some extra RPM shock towers and upper and lower A-arms and a few other parts.
I would mostly be concerned with finding axles and drive shafts. I hope my old Futaba t3pm radio still works. I use to have a bunch of receivers but now I can only find the one from my old MBX5T. Which I also pulled out to clean up.

Locating parts for this second TRAXXAS E- MAXX rebuild, has been an adventurous experience. However, it's yet a lot of fun to progress in this TRAXXAS hobby.

For some reason, the E-MAXX has been - yet - a playful behavior to do so in opposition for these days!

Sypsp, yet determining which motor for the rebuild. I will post it once I have decided Sypsp. I am looking online for the motors that were used in both of TRAXXAS' E-MAXX and Brushless E-MAXX - however.

This third privileged TRAXXAS BRUSHLESS upgrade is now also being move over to the E-MAXX brushless forum. This particular one had, and certainly has inspired me to become a TRAXXAS E-MAXX - admiration and pleasurable fan.

I am now working on the latest (second) E-MAXX rebuild in this forum and doing so, thanks to TRAXXAS' technology regarding their E-MAXX! I am yet finding parts on various online sites thankfully due to the hobby given by The ONE WHO inspired me first.

Oh; and once again, that 17 year-old-young-man (Logan) at Fast Track Hobbies in Rocklin, CA helped me to finish this build also. My soldering iron wasn't helpful to complete this much fun TRAXXAS hobby.

Logan does an excellent job in assisting those who have need of information to help deal with hobby issues here in NorCal.

This rebuild has been much, much, much fun! All the parts are still readily available with some upgrades for this E-MAXX.

Simply said and this is what I heard, "I will help you to find the parts for this hobby." That was a deposit from my LOVING-KIND-SAVIOR; WHO is my DIRECTOR in what to say and do. HE yet and does impress others of whom HE has selected to help me in addition. And I enjoy helping others as well.

Lots of fun, I'm sure you know why (?) as well. The TRAXXAS E-MAXX is yet playful behavior, good humor and a place of enjoyment.

This was research from yours truly

I'm glad to see it has managed to find it's way around the world, noticed it posted up on a UK forum too. Went back to reference it as I am tearing down my FLM E-Maxx - First time she has been apart since 2012

Also glad to see that people are still building custom E-maxxs the T-Maxx was my first truck I purchased with my own money and it awakened a new world that my dad could of only dreamed about in RC! To bad support for the platform has mostly died out. Sure could go for some FLM goodies for this rebuild.

@maximum - those are all some really nice builds

    Hello,

I know that the T-Maxx is slowly dying but there are still a good amount of people out there that are building them up. FLM is one of the few places that still carry a full line of T-Maxx parts, but they are starting to discontinue some of them.

I myself recently built a full FLM T-Maxx and had to do quite a bit of searching to find part numbers for the differentials. I see a lot of threads here asking what combinations can be used in there Hybrid bulks as well.

I don't know if there is a thread listing part numbers or not so I'm sorry if there is and this ends up being a double...

From my searching this is a small list of differentials that can be used in the FLM Hybrid bulks for the T-Maxx and I am sure for the Savage as well. It is not complete but it is enough to get someone what they need! Feel free to correct any mistakes you may see.

    override,

I was privileged to exchange with Sypsp in this forum - thank the LORD. You can see what he did post if you'll visit other earlier pages in this maximum forum. He certainly assisted me in advancing this very much fun TRAXXAS E-MAXX hobby!!

Also, those FLM parts are being sold at a much higher price. That (to me) says a lot about TRAXXAS' E-MAXX role as a monster truck!

Still having privileged fun with the second rebuild of the TRAXXAS 3905 E-MAXX which has been upgraded to become a TRAXXAS BRUSHLESS E-MAXX! For some reason the E-MAXX is worth investing into because of creating for me excitement in this leisure time of enjoyment.

However, this is yet evidence of a gift from the SOURCE of WHO I am honored to know.

This rebuild has been very much fun: and, an upgrade to the Brushless E-MAXX. It shall be posted as well to TRAXXAS' BRUSHLESS forum. Well, I cannot say this too much, The LORD has been so kind to me regarding this privileged hobby.

And yes, it has been and is an affirmation of how TRAXXAS' E-MAXX is still yet a reality in these two forums. It is being a winning post of TRAXXAS' creative ability around the world. Thanks TRAXXAS once again for ever creating such an outstanding R. C. Monster Truck!

You have more than likely noticed this was my first upgraded TRAXXAS E-MAXX 3905 than ever before. And, it has been so much fun since 2009!! Now this E-MAXX is on the way to becoming another TRAXXAS BRUSHLESS E-MAXX as well.

The brushless motor combo was also much fun to discover and was even honorable to purchase. The LORD has been so kid to me to have a TRAXXAS hobby! I will post pics of this upgrade as well.

Now making a decision to resolve which E-MAXX to deposit this brushless combo and regardless this first E-MAXX 3905 will become brushless also. Yep; yet having TRAXXAS E-MAXX fun! I trust this says a lot about the quality of TRAXXAS' E-MAXX!
