    Tire selection?

    Hello,

I was wondering what would be a good tire for racing an oval track that is in a parking lot. It is pavement. I have heard people talk about anacondas? Are those the same ones you would put on a nitro rustler or do they have a different short course size?

Is it an estabished track, or one that you are putting together?

If it is a normal place people race, recommend talking to the local racers and find out what they use. Just like any other track, the tire of choice will very depending on the composition of the track surface.

We make the tack by setting up cones in a school parking lot, when I asked the other racers they seem to be all over the place in there tire selection.

I have the Banditos for street and they hook up like crazy on pavement and asphalt. I went with the c3's which is the softest compound you can get. I dont race on road but i do quite a bit of bashing on road still and while i cant compare them to other street tires (only set i have) i REALLY like these tires.

+1 to those, I've seen a lot of bad reviews of duratrax products, but their tires are pretty sweet. I have the xcon c3's on my stampede and they hook up better in loose dirt than my trenchers.
